Senior Citizen Discount Program Copy

As part of our commitment to our members and our community, Ohop Mutual offers a Senior Citizen Discount that is intended to assist customers who have difficulty paying their power bills. The discount is a monthly credit on the power bill that is equivalent to the monthly Facilities Charge on a customer’s primary single-phase residence. The credit is limited to one per month per active customer. The Senior Citizen discount is renewed annually.

To receive the discount, a customer must:

• Complete and sign a Senior Discount Application (below or in office)
• Provide proof of age (62 years or older)
• Provide proof of income for all permanent residents of the household (200% of Federal Poverty level)
