Student Summer Intern

Ohop Mutual is a member-owned electric distribution utility serving the Graham, Eatonville, and Roy areas of Pierce County. We have been a part of the community for over 100 years and continue to work hard to provide excellent service in all departments for our members.

We are seeking a student summer intern who is interested in gaining experience in a variety of work settings from Administrative/Office work to Engineering and Operations. The position will interface with customers, employees and company executives. Our desired candidate will be hard working, highly organized, project a friendly, positive attitude and have a professional appearance and demeanor. Interns are exposed to a variety of areas, including customer service, engineering and operations.

Essential Duties & Qualities:

• Ability to be the initial contact for our customers and communicate professionally with them
• Ability to answer phone calls as needed and speak to customers with control and confidence
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work outside

Hours:
Temporary, Part-time
Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm

Wage: 17.50 per hour
